Global oxygen therapy leader Longfian Medical has dispatched 600 life-saving oxygen concentrators from China, partnering with UNICEF to bolster emergency medical support for children impacted by conflict in northern Benin.
Violent conflicts in Benin's northern regions have displaced over 50,000 individuals, with women and children accounting for the largest share of those uprooted. To mitigate the escalating humanitarian emergency, UNICEF is rolling out mobile medical units to provide essential care to internally displaced people, refugees, and local host communities. The 600 oxygen concentrators will play a pivotal role in delivering oxygen therapy to children suffering from pneumonia, respiratory infections, and other life-endangering illnesses.
